Ingredients
- Butter (for greasing your baking dish)
- 1 jar (24 oz) of your favorite marinara sauce
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 4 garlic cloves, finely grated
- Kosher salt and cracked black pepper
- 1 lb rigatoni, uncooked
- 1 package (1 lb) Gold Star Hot Links, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Lightly butter a 9x13 baking dish, making sure to coat all sides.
- Mix together the marinara sauce, beef broth, tomato paste, garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
- Layer it up: Spread half of the uncooked rigatoni across the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle half of the Gold Star Hot Links evenly over the pasta. Add small spoonfuls of ricotta across the top, then pour on half of your marinara mixture. Repeat the layers once more—pasta, hot links, ricotta, sauce.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for about 50 minutes, until the pasta is tender and the dish is bubbling.
- Top it off with mozzarella, then return to the oven uncovered for another 10 minutes or until golden and gooey.
Serve hot and watch it disappear.
Perfect for weeknight comfort or a crowd-pleasing Sunday supper—with a little kick from Gold Star. 🌶️🔥
